Another week of polishing off yet another bag of Pirate Booty.

Well well weeeelll... Its only tuesday

Paige has really taken off walking. It's absolutely amazing. She is so dedicated and smiles like such a goon when she checks to see if you are as impressed as she is about this miraculous event that be, walking. And I am extremely impressed and so extremely blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom so I can see every step in our girls growth. They just grow so stinking fast!!! I've just got to say, if you are starting your family, SERIOUSLY, look into staying at home with your children! I understand some prefer to work and some have to work to keep up a lifestyle... but having kids... it's about them now and you will be so blessed. And I know a lot of moms work and they do that to even just afford their kids (they are spendy I know!) I have just been really blessed by my children and all that comes with not working & devoting my days to my kids. Moving on...
Lena is just about out of her Newbie clothes!!  She is getting quite the belly. I hope she gets chunky. Truly. Paige was and is such a skinny minnie, no rolls, light as a feather (unless shes wiggling, then its like wrestling a small hippo). So I hope, Lena gets rolls, they are so cute! And truly and unfortunately, the child we adopt from Uganda is not likely to have much chunk (well not right away!) Anyway, enough about the rolls.

So I started this work out yesterday, made the mistake of thinking (okay I went further than just thinking...) doing the routine twice in a day would make me in shape... faster. Don't judge me, I know it was probably not a wise choice but for those of you who have harbored the post baby body right in between maternity clothes and pre-baby clothes, you might feel my motivation and pure dedication to losing the roll we don't tend to "awww" at like the rolls I long for my darling children. So my question is... Do you know who JACKIE is... she pretty much shapes your body into a brand new beast.  I turn on the dvd and lay a blanket on the carpet, like my exercise mat, and lets just say I thought the warm up junk she was doing was the work out so I put all my effort forth. HA ... I survived, that's all that matters, except for these huge thigh muscles or quad.. whatever, they are huge and they hurt.
So now that I guess I have set up the scene, throw Paige in there (Lena was pleasantly asleep on the couch, she has her days and nights flipped). While I'm doing the squats, Paige is crawling under my legs, when I lay down, she is trying to sit on my stomach, when I sit up she is holding onto my back, when I am whole heartidly attempting lunges... I have to dance around her because she wants to sit right under me. To some, this might be annoying, for those of you who know me, this is heavenly. I love nothing more than my sweet child wanting to be part of what I am doing (as long as she is not screaming bloody murder or pooped her pants during the event...) There was a moment in leg lifts when she laid down beside me and took her foot up to her face and rubbed her cheek with it and smiled at me. First off, I would kill for that flexibility again. Secondly, Thank You Lord for HUGE gifts in Tiny packages. What in the world was the point of my life before my husband and our children.
Yes I know there was point and a purpose but nothing compares to the point and purpose now. My prayer is that our children always have that sincere love and curiosity for their parents and what they are doing. I want my girls to be teenagers that would rather hang out with me than play with their "toys".

I guess I better just pray hard.
